Today the Humane Society of Tulsa and Radio Disney put on Petfest at the Tulsa River Park so we decided to drop by this morning. There weren't many people there (probably because it looked as if it would start pouring at any second)! The ground was totally saturated because of all the rain we've gotten so we were there just long enough for Dixie to get completely filthy - about 15 minutes! She got so nasty that Drew deliberately walked her through water puddles in the parking lot to wash the mud off her feet. Then we had to finish cleaning her up with wipes just so she could get back in the car. She was all smiles!
I must apologize to anyone that went on my suggestion because it was nothing like the Paws in the Park that we experienced this past fall. There were lots of people there and tons of activities and do and see. I'm sure the weather had a lot to do with the low turn out at Petfest but there still weren't as many booths set up either. So who knows!
