2 Months Old

It's hard to believe that Ian is already 2 months old. We went in for his well child checkup and immunizations on Tuesday. It was Drew's first time to witness the immunizations and it was as heartbreaking for him as it was for me. Ian is doing great though. He weighed 10 lbs. 14 oz. (just under the 50th percentile) and he measured 23.5 inches (75th percentile). The medical assistant tried to tell me initially that he weighed 14 pounds but I knew that couldn't be right! It's amazing enough that he has gained almost 4 pounds since birth. He is still only eating breastmilk, and he is sleeping at least 8 hours through the night. He is smiling a lot lately, and his cooing is the sweetest thing. It's just crazy how much more quickly time seems to be flying with two children.
