Downtown Aquarium - Spring Break 2010
My Dad and his crew decided to come down to visit during Spring Break as well. We attempted to take all the boys to the zoo, but that didn't work out so well. We drove around for FOREVER before finally deciding to just head to Aquarium. The kids had a blast there! Here's a slideshow from that day.
Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo 2010
While we did attend the HLSR Kickoff BBQ this year, I didn't really get any good pictures. But here's a slideshow of some pics from our trip to the Livestock Show & Rodeo during Spring Break. We went to the Rodeo with my Mom, David, Jordan, and her friend, Jordan B. but somehow I managed not to get any pictures of them!

Mason's 3rd Birthday - Dec 2009
I realized that I never posted any pictures from Mason's 3rd birthday party. We celebrated it with family while we were home for the holidays. He had a Cars party.
I opted for a grocery store cake instead of the usual custom cake, and the folks at Kroger weren't nearly as enthusiastic about his cake as he was.
If you look closely you'll see that they ran out of room on "Birthday" and just squished it all in.

What Happened To 2010?
So I know that I'm WAY overdue for the blog. I laugh that I left you all with man-ly mustache, and yes, the following week I did get it waxed off! I'm amazed that it has been 10 months since I last blogged. I blame Facebook really! I mean what can't be blamed on that site!
I remember being a kid and hearing all the grown-ups discuss how fast time passed by. I remember thinking to myself that they were crazy - time pratically stood still. I began measuring time around my birthday and Christmas, then it became every six weeks of school, then every semester, and so on. Somewhere along the way time sped up! I'm convinced of it. I find myself being one of those "grown-ups" that talks about time flying by. Is it really almost November? Am I really about to turn 33 in a few weeks? (Yep, I put it out there!) I look at my lil sis at 15 yrs. old and I think, "I can vividly remember being that age! Has it REALLY been nearly 20 years since I was there?!?" I digress! I promise in 2011 I'm going to make a better effort of updating the blog! In the meantime, I'll try to bring everyone up to speed!

A Mustache Just Like Daddy's
During the course of a conversation, in which, Mason was telling me why I "make his sooooo mad" (I was making him pick up his toys) he looked right at me, and said, "Hey, you've a mustache just like, Daddy!" Yes, I realize I'm long overdue for a wax, but geez kid!
